The chef behind all the MICHELIN Stars
Thomas Keller— The chef behind all the Michelin stars—has proven his culinary prowess and talents for more than thirty years. His restaurants currently hold seven Michelin stars: three at Per Se, three at The French Laundry, and one at The Surf Club Restaurant.
Bouchon is housed in the recently—and immaculately—restored La Palma building. A walk through its shady courtyard is a trip back to the golden era of the Gables. Inside Bouchon, you can take an even deeper trip into the elegant past.

One Star: High quality cooking

Chef Shingo Akikuni, ever gracious and welcoming, has returned to Coral Gables behind a spacious 14-seat counter. Fish is sourced almost entirely from Japan, sliced uniformly, and dressed with little more than a swipe of nigiri. Akikuni and his business partner hired a firm out of Kyoto to design the restaurant in Japan, which was then deconstructed, shipped to La Palma, and assembled on-site by a Japanese carpenter.
